Arbalet Cup Almaty has been found its winner as k23 brought home the title by winning the Grand Final against KerchNET. The first set of the final saw KerchNET winning 2-1 in yesterday. The second set was to be played today, to determine the overall winner. The Kazakhstanis looked really poor in the first set yesterday, but it was a totally transformed k23 that we saw playing today. Starting on dust2, k23 a stunning CT side on dust2, securing them a 12-3 lead at halftime. Side switch did not help KerchNET much, as k23 cruised on to pick up the four rounds needed to win 16-4 overall, with Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubaev being the man to watch. Second map train, a map that k23 had major problems with against KerchNET yesterday. The Kazakhs started CT and not much went wrong, which lead to a 12-3 lead. It looked like gameover for KerchNET, but the Ukrainians pulled off 12-3 on their CT side, forcing overtime. K23 locked down a 3-0 as CT, and by winning the first rounds as T, they secured the 19-16 win on train and 2-0 in second set.
